The right tools for the job

001Taking your hardware to a shop to be repaired is expensive. If you are handy, you can do many of the tasks yourself. It used to be that a small screwdriver and an old credit card were all you needed to disassemble most PC/laptop cases.

As our electronics get smaller and smaller, it’s become harder and harder to take things apart. I now need to use a magnifying glass when working on laptops and tablets just to see some of the screws and motherboard labeling.

It’s got nothing to do with age (adjusting my bifocals). So I keep telling myself.

So save some bucks on repairs and fix it yourself!
